Graduate Education


The Graduate Education Committee of the NATA Education Council evaluates and revises graduate standards and guidelines for post-certification graduate education programs. The Graduate Education Committee developed and maintains the Standards and Guidelines for Post-Certification Graduate Athletic Training Education Programs document. The Standards and Guidelines for Post-Certification Graduate Athletic Training Education Programs are a guide for college and university personnel interested in developing and/or maintaining an NATA accredited post-certification graduate athletic training education programs.

NATA accredited graduate education programs are intended for athletic trainers who possess the ATC® credential or who are eligible for certification. The NATA’s Graduate Review Committee (GRC) is responsible for evaluating and recommending the accreditation status of post-certification graduate athletic training education programs to the NATA Board of Directors.
