In 1996 the National Athletic Trainers’ Association Board of Directors voted to establish the Education Council. Based on the recommendations of the NATA’s Education Task Force, the Education Council’s function is to act as a “clearinghouse” for educational policy, development, and delivery for entry-level, graduate, specialty, and continuing education. The Educational Multimedia and Athletic Training Student Committee have also been added to the Education Council Committee Structure.
