To ensure this goal, a systematic process for exploring research priorities is important to help ATs be successful and to foster positive patient outcomes.<\/p>\n<p>The Strategic Alliance Research Agenda Task Force conducted a mixed methodology study consisting of six focus-groups, a content-expert review and a web-based survey. Results identified and led to the endorsement of five research priorities including health care competency, vitality of the profession, health professions education, health care economics and health information technology.
