Based on input from BOC Approved Providers areas of improvement for CE support that have been outlined for launch in 2022 include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Instructional videos to guide compliance maintenance during development:\n<ul>\n<li>Clinical Bottom Line\n<ul>\n<li>Summary of the evidence that identifies the clinical recommendation of the intervention outlined in the learning objectives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Practice Gap\n<ul>\n<li>Explains the observed practice and what the practice should<i> <\/i>be, supported by the literature, answering the following:\n<ul>\n<li>What isn&#8217;t the AT doing that they should be doing?<\/li>\n<li>What doesn&#8217;t the AT know that this program will provide them?<\/li>\n<li>What is the patient&#8217;s unmet need?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Instructional webinar on CE program development process (to be held fall 2022)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to survey data already captured, the BOC will further dig into and refine the shape of these planned resources through upcoming BOC Approved Provider focus groups and other forms of research and discussion. These sounding boards for gathering input will ensure added resources meet the needs of those providing continuing education programs to Athletic Trainers.
