This includes paying your 2024 and 2025 annual certification maintenance fees (plus any late fees), reporting continuing education (CE) activities, uploading a current emergency cardiac care (ECC) card\/certificate and confirming the required statements in your CE reporting form.<\/p>\n<p>By taking action early, you avoid last-minute stress, keep your certification secure and demonstrate professionalism. Follow this streamlined action plan to finish ahead of schedule:<\/p>\n<p><strong>LOG INTO YOUR BOC PROFILE AND CHECK THE \u201cMY TO-DO LIST\u201d FOR OUTSTANDING ITEMS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Log into your BOC profile.<\/li>\n<li>Use \u201cPay (Year) Cert Maintenance Fee\u201d to clear all outstanding fees.<\/li>\n<li>Select \u201cEnter\/Submit CE Activity\u201d to access your CE reporting form. Once started, your CE reporting form will stay in a \u201cPending\u201d status until submitted.<\/li>\n<li>Tasks disappear from the \u201cMy To-Do List\u201d once they\u2019re complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>REVIEW \u201cSTEP 1: CEU SUMMARY\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your \u201cCEU Summary\u201d shows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reporting period dates.<\/li>\n<li>Total CEUs due.<\/li>\n<li>Entered CEUs with real-time updates.<\/li>\n<li>A breakdown of Categories A, B, C and D.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR CATEGORY A CERTIFICATES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each Category A certificate should include: your name, BOC Approved Provider name, program title, BOC Approved Provider logo, statement of credit, completion date and CEU eligibility.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Missing the logo or statement of credit? Contact the BOC.<\/li>\n<li>Missing your name or course details? Contact the BOC Approved Provider for an updated certificate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>USE \u201cA &#8211; APPROVED PROVIDER CE\u201d FOR CATEGORY A PROGRAMS FROM BOC APPROVED PROVIDERS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The \u201cQuick Entry\u201d tool lets you quickly enter CE programs offered by BOC Approved Providers.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Search by the specific session title (not conference name, if listed individually).<\/li>\n<li>Match certificate details exactly.<\/li>\n<li>Use the last day attended as the completion date.<\/li>\n<li>Report only the CEUs you actually participated in.<\/li>\n<li>Use \u2018A &#8211; Other Approved CE\u2019 to add other qualifying Category A CE Click \u201cAdd\u201d at the top.<\/li>\n<li>Select the correct \u201cActivity Type\u201d and continue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>UNDERSTAND CATEGORIES B, C AND D<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Use the \u201cAdd\u201d button in each tab to enter programs.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Category B: Professional and scholarly activities<\/li>\n<li>Category C: Post-certification college or university coursework<\/li>\n<li>Category D: Non-BOC Approved Provider programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>EDIT OR DELETE WITHIN EACH CATEGORY TAB<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Need to make a change? Use \u201cEdit\u201d or \u201cDelete\u201d directly within the category tab where the program was entered. All Category A CEUs can be edited or deleted from the A- Other Approved CE tab.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RECHECK THE CEU SUMMARY AFTER ENTRY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Once all CEUs are entered, revisit \u201cCEU Summary\u201d to verify totals. If your submitted vs. applied numbers differ, check that completion dates fall within the reporting period.<\/p>\n<p><strong>KEEP \u201cSTEP 2: ECC DOCUMENTATION\u201d CURRENT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You must maintain ongoing ECC certification during the reporting period.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all active ECC cards or certificates are listed.<\/li>\n<li>If \u201cReview\u201d appears next to an entry, it cannot be edited. Add additional cards from this renewal period. Do not edit past cards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>COMPLETE \u201cSTEP 3: PRACTICE SURVEY\u201d AND \u201cSTEP 4: CONFIRMATION STATEMENTS\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Finish both steps before heading to the \u201cSubmission Checklist\u201d to avoid delays.<\/p>\n<p><strong>USE THE \u201cSUBMISSION CHECKLIST\u201d TO FINALIZE AND SUBMIT<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Review the summary on the \u201cSubmission Checklist\u201d tab.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An \u201cX\u201d under Status indicates action needed\u2014see the \u201cMessage\u201d column for guidance.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cSubmit\u201d button appears only when all items are complete.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u25cb Form status of \u201cCompleted\u201d means your form has been successfully submitted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RAISE THE BAR TODAY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Completing your requirements early reflects your professionalism, protects your certification and gives you peace of mind.
